Manatee, FL – Feb, 11 2024 – The Manatee 100 Club is proud to announce the launch of its new Scholarship Program at the State College of Florida, an initiative designed to provide financial support to law enforcement officers and their families. Demonstrating its commitment to reinvesting membership dues back into the community, the club has donated $30,000 to establish this scholarship, ensuring that the educational needs of our local heroes are met.

The scholarship program is part of the Manatee 100 Club’s broader mission to honor the dedication and sacrifice of law enforcement officers. By supporting higher education opportunities for officers, their spouses, and their children, the club reinforces its belief that strong, well-educated families contribute to a safer, more resilient community.
In a celebratory ceremony, Scholarship Committee members Dennis Cooley and Paul Kotlarczyk met with State College of Florida President Tommy Gregory to deliver the $30,000 donation. “We are honored to partner with State College of Florida in this important initiative,” said Mr. Cooley. “Our officers and their families make immense sacrifices, and it is our privilege to help support their educational journeys.” Mr. Kotlarzcky added, “This scholarship program will have a lasting impact on local students and the community, and we are honored to share the club’s commitment to investing in our law enforcement officers and their families.”

The club also took the opportunity to thank the college staff for their assistance in setting up the scholarship program. Their collaboration and support have been instrumental in launching a program that will serve as a representation of support and opportunity for law enforcement families for years to come.
