Florida Fighway Patrol Trooper Jeffrey Young made the ultimate sacrifice on August 18, 1987, when he was tragically shot while attempting to arrest a drug courier during a traffic stop on I-75 in Manatee County, FL.
FOP Lodge #7o is commissioning a life-sized bronze statue to honor Trooper Young’s dedication and sacrifice. Our goal is to raise $50,000, with every dollar going directly toward the statue. We invite businesses and community members to contribute, ensuring his legacy endures
