Serving Those Who Serve: Honoring Law Enforcement at the Manatee County Fair

Facebook

Each year during the Manatee County Fair, the Manatee Hundred Club proudly continues one of our most meaningful traditions—serving dinner each night to the law enforcement officers working to keep the fair safe and secure. From January 15th through the 25th, our members showed up in force to make sure every shift of officers was greeted with a warm meal and a reminder that their efforts do not go unnoticed.

This annual tradition is about more than just food—it’s about fellowship, gratitude, and showing our appreciation in a way that brings people together. Officers from across our county stopped by for dinner throughout the fair’s run, and each night brought new conversations, shared stories, and a chance to connect outside the line of duty.

We’re especially grateful to the dedicated Manatee Hundred Club members who gave their time to serve and support. Whether behind the grill or greeting officers with a plate, your efforts made this event what it was. And none of it would have been possible without the incredible generosity of our food donors, who stepped up to provide meals throughout the entire fair:

Pano Birbilis
Mark Ventriglia
Dean Wright
Basil’s Flame Broiled Chicken & Ribs
Popi’s Place
Loaded Barrel
Shake Station
FHP Auxiliary
Detwiler’s Farm Market, who generously donated 100 steaks
Gordon Food Service
Robby Stevenson

Thanks to your support, hundreds of meals were served with pride, and countless officers left feeling just a little more appreciated.

To our law enforcement officers: thank you for your continued service, not just during the fair, but every day. Your dedication to protecting our community inspires us, and we are honored to give back in this small way.

We look forward to carrying on this tradition and continuing to stand beside those who serve.
